Prestongrange Hoffmann brick kiln
The Hoffmann continuous Kiln at Prestongrange Industrial Heritage museum.  The Kiln was built in 1937 and was capable of producing bricks in huge quantities.  The Hoffmann Kiln allowed a continuous cycle of brick production which rotated frin one chamber of the kiln to the next in succession.  There are 24 chambers and each one held 11,000 bricks.
