Ruins of Dunbar Castle
Dunbar Castle was said to be one of the strongest Castles in Scotland.  Several fortresses were built on this site, the earliest being 1070.  The ruins you see today are what remains from 1670 when by order of the Scottish Parliament is was to be "utterly cast down to the ground".
