The iconic water tower of the Motherwell Bridge company in Motherwell. The Engineering firm was established in 1898, it came close to collapse in 2006 but has since made a recovery. Some of the factory became surplus and land was sold for housing, including the bit containing this tower but it was decided to ratain the tower since it is such a land mark in Motherwell.
