Cambus O May Suspension Bridge, River Dee
Located between Ballater and Aboyne this bridge was donated to the public by Alexander Gordon in 1905.  It was built by James Abernethy & Co of Aberdeen.  Alexander Gordon, born in 1818, was a local boy who made his money in the brewing industry in London but never forgot his roots.  He also donated public buildings in Ballater.
