Wee Cumbrae Island, Firth of Clyde
Over looking the side facing the mainland from the top of the old castle. The Island covers around 770 acres, it was held by the Hunters of Hunterston and then the Montgomery Earls of Eglinton. In 2003 it was sold to a developer and in 2005 was again put on the market for £2.5m, apparently in 2008 it now has a new owner.
