Main Street, Beith
A view along the main street at Beith.  One of Beith's claims to fame is that it was the birth place of Dr Henry Faulds in 1843.  He is recognised as the person to come up with the idea of using finger prints in criminal investigations.  He published this idea in 'Nature' journal in 1880.
